Converter is a functional block (team, service, subsystem) that receives value elements, transforms them and produces new ones.
Flow is a directional connection between converters (or with the outside world). It carries a certain amount of value or anti-value. Flows can be:
Value element types describe what exactly moves through the system: customer value, revenue, costs, risks, technical debt, etc.
